What method of payment do you accept? |
| |
We accept cash, cheque, or an EFTPOS transaction from your savings, cheque or credit card. Credit cards accepted include Visa, Mastercard, or Bankcard. |

How long will my appointment take? |
| |
You can expect to spend up to an hour for a consultation. It may take longer if additional testing is required. |
| |

Why do I need a driver? |
| |
Your eyes may be dilated for examination. This means you are not fit to drive a vehicle for approximately 2 hours after the consultation. |

Do I need a referral? |
| |
In order to claim a refund from Medicare, you must have a current referral from a doctor or optometrist prior to your appointment with the Eye Specialist. |

How long is my referral valid for? |
| |
A referral from your GP or Optometrist is valid for 12 months from the date on the referral. A referral from a Specialist Medical Officer is valid for 3 months from the date on the referral. Once a referral has expired, you will need to obtain a new referral before you return to the Eye Specialist in order to be able to make a claim from Medicare. |

Is there parking available? |
| |
There is ample parking available. Take the second parking entrance to the larger car park where you are more likely to be guaranteed a space. |

Where is there parking available for the Nambour Clinic? |
| |
There is a council car park on the corner of Howard and Sydney Sts. It is a short walk in the direction of Currie St from the car park. |
