This year the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery was held in San Francisco. Dr Black attends this meeting annually to keep up to date with the latest developments in Ophthalmology. This year Dr Black was a guest speaker at the conference on the subject “Visual Outcomes with Premium Intraocular Lenses”.
It is interesting to note that in Australia our health system enables us access to the latest lens implants often years before the American health system. This means the American Ophthalmologists are very interested in the outcomes from cataract and other types of lens implant surgery.
